Job Opening: ILGA Asia is looking for a Finance and Admin Officer

Duration of Initial Contract: 3 months on probation followed by a 9-month contract
ILGA Asia is recruiting a full-time staff member to look after the operation of the Bangkok office, starting from November 1st, 2019.

Key responsibilities:
Events and logistics:
Plan and coordinate events;
Arrange flight, visa and accommodation for participants of ILGA Asia’s events;
Work in an administrative and support role, including setting up and managing administrative systems;
Support a wide range of people including civil society organizations, government officials, funders and other relevant stakeholders.
Procurement and financial compliance:
Financial management for international projects;
Implementing financial procedures and policies ;
Administration of project budgets, processing of financial documents, in accordance with grant requirements and related financial administrative tasks;
Maintaining a high level of accuracy in preparing financial information;
Operating computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word-processing programs, and e-mail at a highly proficient level.
Office management:
Manage office facilities and maintain properties;
Liaise with suppliers of office services and equipment in Bangkok.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree from an accredited university;
Applicant must be Thai national;
A high standard of written and spoken English and Thai;
Excellent time management skill;
Knowledge of diverse gender, sex and sexuality issues;
Ability to work as part of a diverse team, and maintain excellent working relationships;
Sensitivity to working in a multicultural and diverse environment and commitment to promoting respect for equality and diversity;
Experience of working in an NGO is desirable;
